In previous releases of Madge's LAN Support Software (LSS) the Miniport driver for Windows NT (MDGMPORT.SYS) only supported PCs with Intel processors. As part of a continuing program of meeting customers' requirements, Madge is pleased to introduce extended platform support for Windows NT with LSS 5.0.

MDMPORT.SYS now supports PC platforms based on the following processors :

  • DEC Alpha
  • Intel
  • Power PC
  • MIPS
