Installing the Madge Ringnodes monitoring program, Ring User

Madge RingUser tells you which computers are using your network and what network drivers they are using.

To install RingUser:

Copy RingUser from the LSS CD onto a floppy disk.
From Windows, close down any programs you are running.
Select the Run option.
Type:
A:\RUsetup [Enter]
Follow the instructions and answer the questions that the screen displays until you have completed installing Madge RingUser.

To run RingUser, you may need to edit the SMART.CFG file with the following:

     [HOST]
     [CARD]
     [LLC]
          sa=8
          st=30
