Hints for troubleshooting in remote boot environments

The following sections provide information about troubleshooting your remote booting environment.

Note: If you are using Smart II Software in your boot image ensure that you have used the FORCELOAD parameter in your SMART.CFG file. If you have linked your Smart II Software using the batch files provided (see the SMTLINK.TXT file), then this parameter is already enabled. If you are booting in a LAN Server or LAN Manager environment and running a memory manager you must also specify either PIO or LOMEM in your SMART.CFG file.
