OS/2 LAN Requester v5.0

1. Go to the root directory of the OS/2 Warp Server CD.
2. Change to the WARPSRV directory.
3. Change to the OS2CLNT directory.
4. Double-click CLTINST.EXE, and click OK.
5. Choose a drive to put the Installation program onto.
6. Click OK.
7. Click OK to start the installation.
8. Type your details.
9. Select OK.
10. When asked if you want to install OS/2 File and Print Client, answer Yes and click OK.
11. Type a unique workstation name.
12. Click OK.
13. Type the name of the Domain you want to connect to.
14. Click OK.
15. When asked if you want to install Remote Access Client, answer No and click Ok.
16. If you need Internet access, answer Yes . When asked whether you want to install TCP/IP services. Click OK. If your LAN does not support DHCP, type TCP/IP details and click OK.
17. Decide whether to install IBM System View Client and click OK.
18. Select the Madge Fastmac Plus OS/2 NDIS driver and click OK.
19. Click OK again.
20. Select Skip adapter configuration and click OK.
21. Click Install.
22. Click Shutdown.
23. When the PC has performed its installation routines, click Close.
24. The PC reboots again. During the boot process you might receive an error message. If you do, proceed to the next step below. If you do not receive an error message, click here.
25. When the PC reboots, you will see the error message again. Press [ENTER] as prompted by the PC.
26. When the STARTUP.CMD screen appears, close it.
27. Double-click on the MPTS icon.
28. Click OK.
29. Click Configure.
30. Click Configure again.
31. Select IBM OS/2 NETBIOS, and click Remove.
32. Click Other Adapters.
33. Put the Madge CSS Release Disk into the floppy drive.
34. Type the path A:\OS2.
35. Click OK.
36. From the list of network adapters, select Madge 16/4 CardBus Adapter, and click Add.
37. From the list of protocols, select IBM OS/2 NETBIOS, and click Add.
38. Click OK.
39. Click Close.
40. Click Exit.
41. Click Exit again.
42. Click OK.
43. Click Exit.
44. Shut down and reboot the PC.
