OS/2 Warp Connect Peer v3.0
- In the Product Selection dialog, click OK.
- Select Madge Smart Ringnodes for OS/2 v2.x.
- Click Settings.
- Click OK.
- Click the OS/2 Peer Tab in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
- Type a workstation name and a Domain name.
- Click Install.
- The system performs installation routines for some time, and eventually reboots itself. During the boot process a message might appear saying that the system failed to bind NETBEUI to MCBND_NIF. If you receive this message, press [ENTER] as prompted by the PC, and follow the instructions in the remainder of this section. If you do not receive the message click here.
- A screen appears telling you which products have been installed. Click OK.
- The PC reboots again.
- When the PC reboots, you will see the earlier message about NETBEUI failing to bind to MCBND_NIF. Press [ENTER] as prompted by the PC.
- When the STARTUP.CMD screen appears, close it.
- Double-click on the MPTS icon.
- Click OK.
- Click Configure.
- Click Configure again.
- Select IBM OS/2 NETBIOS, and click Remove.
- Click Other Adapters.
- Put the Madge CSS Release Disk into the floppy drive.
- Type the path A:\OS2.
- Click OK.
- From the list of network adapters, select Madge 16/4 CardBus Adapter, and click Add.
- From the list of protocols, select IBM OS/2 NETBIOS, and click Add.
- Click OK.
- Click Close.
- Click Exit.
- Click Exit again.
- Click OK.
- Click Exit.
- Shut down and reboot the PC.
