Installing OS/2 Warp Connect with
LAN Requester v4.0
- In the Product Selection dialog box, specify the products you need. If you want Internet access, check the IBM TCP/IP for OS/2 3.0 (includes Internet access) box.
- Select Madge Smart Ringnodes for OS/2 v2.x.
- Click Settings.
- Click the LAN Requester tab in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
- Type a Requester name and a Domain Name.
- If you selected IBM TCP/IP earlier, type an IP address, subnet mask, and router address; then go to page 2 of the Setup Selected Products notepad, and type a TCP/IP Domain Name, and a Name Server.
- Click Install.
- After some minutes the Installation Completed dialog appears. Click OK.
- The PC reboots.
- Double-click on the MPTS icon on the OS/2 desktop.
- Click OK.
- Click Install.
- Insert the Madge CSS Release Disk.
- Type A:\OS2.
- Click OK.
- Click OK again.
- Click Exit.
- Click Exit again.
- Click OK.
- Click Exit.
- Shutdown and reboot the PC.
