Upgrading from the driver distributed with Windows 95

1. Un-install the existing driver distributed with Windows 95, (if you have installed it for any Madge Smart 16/4 Ringnodes).
   Choose the Networks option from the Control Panel. If you have any Madge Smart 16/4 Ringnodes installed you will see one or more entries in the components list with a description that starts "Madge Smart 16 ...".

2. Highlight each entry.

3. Click on the Remove button. Once all of the entries have been removed close the Networks and Control Panel windows.

4. Shut down and Restart your computer. For more information, return to the "Previous page" and see Installing MDGMPORT.SYS.
