Ringnode handling precautions

Always turn off the power to your computer before installing or removing a Ringnode.

• Do not remove the Ringnode from its protective antistatic packaging until you are ready to use it.

• Before handling the Ringnode, discharge the static electricity from your body by touching a protective grounding device or the metal chassis of your computer. As an added precaution, wear a grounding strap.

• Always handle the Ringnode carefully by its edges. Avoid touching any of the components or connections, particularly the gold edge-connectors.
