Connecting to the network

Make sure that you choose the correct cable for the network that you are connecting to.

After inserting the Ringnode into your computer, connect it to a working token-ring network. To do this, use either:

• STP (Shielded Twisted Pair) or,

• UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) cable.
