Bus compatibility

The Smart 16/4 PCMCIA Ringnode is a high-performance network adapter for connecting personal computers to token-ring networks at 16Mbps or 4Mbps.

The Ringnode inserts into either Type II or Type III slots as long as they conform to Release 2.00 of the PCMCIA standard. (PCMCIA stands for Personal Computer Memory Card International Association.)
