Saving DOS memory

To save DOS memory, ensure that you load the network drivers only when you are going to use the network. Perform either of the following:

Use the facilities of DOS version 6.x to create a choice of configurations for starting-up your computer. Include at least one configuration that loads no network drivers.
Use the Madge IFADAP with DOS version 5.x (or earlier), to ensure that the network drivers load only when you are going to use the network.
