How do I open a page when I start the browser?
There are two ways to open a page when you start the browser.
- Typing the file name you wish to open on the command line as follows
MDGDOCS <filename>
- By setting a home page.
Setting a Home Page.
- Go to the Options menu and select Home Page.
- Type the file name you wish to use into the dialog box or click on browse to
pick a file name from disk.
- Click OK.
- Go to the Options menu again and select Save Options to save the new Home Page.
If a file name is specified on the command line this page will be opened even if a home page is set.
You can display the home page at any time using Home from the Go menu.
If a file name isn't specified and a home page isn't set no page will be displayed when the browser is started.
