Troubleshooting in NetWare Remote Reset environments

• Use SMARTROM.EXE to ensure that your Smartrom is programmed with either MULTI.ROM or NW.ROM. If it is not then reprogram it using SMARTROM.EXE.

• If you find that the Smartrom is connecting to the wrong server use SMARTROM.EXE to program a server name into the Smartrom. This will tell the Smartrom to connect only to that server.

• Remember that an image name specified in BOOTCONF.SYS in the SYS:\LOGIN directory on the server will override an image name programmed in the Smartrom.
