Supporting FTP PC/TCP version 2.1 for DOS workstations

1. Install FTP PC/TCP according to the PC/TCP Network Software for DOS manual.

2. Perform one of the following depending on the interface you require for your network operating system. For information about choosing your Smart Software interfaces, see the Smart Software section.
   • Install the Smart ODI interface following the instructions in Installing SMART.EXE in conjunction with the instructions for installing and configuring an ODI driver, given in the PC/TCP manual. The PC/TCP manual uses the acronym MLID to refer generically to ODI drivers.

   • Install the Smart LLC interface (and the Smart IPX interface, if required), following the instructions in Installing SMART.EXE, in conjunction with the instructions for installing an ASI interface given in the PC/TCP manual. The PC/TCP manual uses the acronym ASI to refer to the LLC interface. If you are using an IPX interface, refer also to the instructions given in the PC/TCP manual for running PC/TCP with Novell NetWare.

3. Copy the Madge driver files to the subdirectory where you keep your network drivers.
