Installing a DOS workstation for IBM DOS LAN Services

1. Insert the DOS LAN Services Disk 1 in the floppy drive. Type A:\

2. Type Install then press ENTER. Follow the on-screen instructions. After confirming the default settings as acceptable, the installation will begin. When asked to select a network driver, choose the No network adapter option.

3. Proceed with the installation, inserting disks when necessary and reboot the computer when the installation is complete.

4. Run the Install program from the directory where DOS LAN Services was installed. Select To install an additional network driver from disk.

5. Insert the Madge Client disk 2, specify the path:
   A:\DOS
   and select the appropriate Ringnode.

6. Complete the installation and then restart your computer.
