Using MWIZARD.INI

Note: The command-line options override the options in the MWIZARD.INI file. For more information about using the command-line options, at the DOS prompt type: MWIZARD ?

Using a text editor you can specify or edit the parameters in the MWIZARD.INI file. The MWIZARD.INI file allows you to customize Madge Wizard for your requirements.

The file consists of four sections, which if present must start with the appropriate header. The headers and corresponding sections are:

Use this header:To specify:
[configuration]Screen and scripting options.
[script]The part or parts of Madge Wizard to run. Do not confuse this with the scripting function.
[hardware]Hardware Wizard options.
[software]Software Wizard options.

The options available for the different sections are listed in the example MWIZARD.INI file in the \LSS.500\MWIZARD\ directory on the CD-ROM. To create your own file, edit the example file, removing the semi-colons from in front of the options that you wish to select.
