Creating a configuration script file that reserves system resources

Use the "Two stage Ringnode addition : New" option to create a configuration script that will reserve resources for a Ringnode that is not yet installed in your computer.

To do this:

  1. Type MWIZARD SCRIPTING [ENTER] at the DOS prompt.

  2. Click on "Change Ringnode configuration". The Select script file window appears.

  3. Select "Create script", click on "OK". The Madge Hardware Wizard window appears.

  4. Click on "Custom", select "Two stage Ringnode addition : New".

  5. Select the type of Ringnode you want to install from the list.

  6. Configure your Ringnode settings.
  7. From the "New Ringnode addition" dialog box, click on "Add".

  8. Save the configuration script file.
