Creating a configuration script file

You can a create hardware script file that you can run to:

  • Reserve resources for Ringnode that is not yet installed in your computer.

  • Change the configuration of a Ringnode that is already installed in your computer.

When you create a configuration script file, note the following:

  • If there is only one Ringnode installed in your computer, the script that you create can be run on any Ringnode.

  • If there is more than one Ringnode installed in your computer, the script that you create can only be run Ringnode type specified in the script file.

Note: To run "Change Ringnode configuration" in script mode, type MWIZARD HARDWARE SCRIPTING [ENTER] at the DOS prompt.
