Creating an installation script file

To create a script file that will update a DOS client driver installation:
  1. Type MWIZARD SCRIPTING [ENTER] at the DOS prompt.

  2. Click on "Set up software". The Select script file window appears.

  3. Select "Do not load script", click on "OK". The Madge Software Wizard window appears.

  4. Click on "Maintain". The "Source/Destination directory" window appears.

  5. Type the drive and directory that you want to install the new files to. Any existing bootable set up on this drive will be analyzed and used as a basis for your changes.

  6. Make any changes that you require. Click on "Install".

  7. Save the script file.

When you run an install script file Madge Wizard will automatically install the specified drivers from the LAN Support Software release 5.0.

Note:  To run "Set up Software" in script mode, from the command-line type MWIZARD SOFTWARE SCRIPTING [ENTER] at the DOS prompt.
