Editing a hardware configuration script

Hardware scripts are saved as text files and may be modified using a text editor.

There are three examples of hardware configuration scripts which can be found on the LSS CD in the directory \LSS.500\MWIZARD\SCRIPTS:

• The EXAMPLE1.HWR script gives a full list of the available options. You can create your own script files by editing the file to remove the semi-colon from in front of the options you wish to enable.

• EXAMPLE2.HWR is a short script to enable a Smartrom.

• EXAMPLE3.HWR is a short script to change 4Mbps ring speed to 16Mbps.
