Maintaining your DOS network driver installation

Note: Always test configurations that have been modified by running a script file. It can be difficult to predict the effect of running a script generated on a different system. For example, a script that configures an ISA adapter correctly may not work as expected on a PCI adapter.

Note: To Maintain your DOS network driver installation you need to access the LSS CD. To do this, either use a CD-ROM drive, or copy the LSS CD to the root directory of a drive on your computer.

Use Madge Wizard to change your current DOS boot set up. To do this, complete the following:

  1. From the Madge Wizard main menu, click on "Install Madge software".

  2. From the Madge Software Wizard window, click on "Maintain".

  3. Type the drive letter and path of the directory that you want to save any configuration changes to. Click on "OK".

  4. Make any changes to your Madge driver/protocols configuration. Click on "Install".

  5. Madge Wizard copies the files to the destination that you have specified.
