Inserting the Ringnode

1. Remove the cover of your computer and select any empty (5V) PCI expansion slot. You can identify a PCI slot from the following:
   • PCI slots are always white.

   • PCI adapters and non-PCI adapters face in opposite directions.

   • PCI slots sometimes share a backplate with an adjacent non-PCI slot . This means that if the adjacent slot is occupied, the PCI slot is not available.

2. Remove the slot's backplate. Keep its screw safely.

3. Push the Ringnode firmly into the slot. Do not force it. If it does not slide in easily, it may be misaligned.

4. Secure the Ringnode with the retaining screw.

5. Replace the cover of the computer.
