Memory managers

Only the most recent versions of memory managers are designed to handle PCI computers that are connected to Local Area Networks. If you are using a memory manager and you have problems loading the network drivers, you may need to update the memory manager (for details, contact your PC supplier). If you normally use EMM386, we recommend version 4.49 (or later). This is the version that is shipped with MS-DOS version 6.22 which is available from MicroSoft on the Compuserve Forum.
