This section tells you how to configure a LAN Manager version 2.2 or 2.1 server to perform Remote Program
Load for DOS and OS/2 workstations. Read it in conjunction with the instructions about installing Remote
Program Load on a server, in the LAN Manager Administrator’s Guide.
Before you install your driver software:
- Configure the Smartrom to use Remote Program Load. For information about this, see
Configuring your Smartrom.
- Follow the instructions in the LAN Manager Administrator’s Guide for remote booting with IBM Token-Ring adapters. Then follow the instructions in this chapter.
