Run Madge Wizard to configure the AT Plus, PCI and ISA Client Plus Ringnodes.

Diskless workstations

To configure the AT Plus Ringnode in a diskless workstation, first enable the Smartrom by setting switch 3 to ON. Then reboot. Run the configuration software from the Smartrom by pressing [F1] at the prompt.

You cannot configure the ISA Client Plus in a diskless workstation until you have enabled the Smartrom. To do this, install the Ringnode into a computer with a hard or floppy drive. Run the configuration software and choose the option that enables the Smartrom. Then remove the Ringnode and install it into the diskless workstation. To configure the Ringnode further, reboot and press [F1] at the prompt.

AT mode

If you are operating an AT Plus Ringnode in AT mode, set switches 1, 2, 3, and 4. In AT mode these settings are not software configurable. After you have set the switches, however, you must run the configuration software. Until you do so, your Ringnode is disabled. (The Ringnode is supplied in Normal mode.)
