When diagnostics is finished

1. The screen displays a message telling you that the tests are complete.

2. If the Ringnode passes all the tests, a message in the Test window says so. The screen displays the node address (which is stored in ROM on the Ringnode) near the upper right corner of the test screen. Make a note of this address. You might need it for network monitoring or troubleshooting.

3. If the Ringnode fails any test, a message in the Test window says so, and the screen displays some troubleshooting information.

i Read the troubleshooting information on the screen. Try the remedies listed.

ii Check that your network cable is connected properly to the Ringnode. This is a common cause of failure.
